Circulatory, Lymph and Immunity Test Topics
The test covers topics 8-12. If it is in the notes, it is fair game for the test. But here are the topics to focus on:
- Be able to label the parts of the heart
- Know the functions of the different parts of the heart (including the blood vessels that are connected to it)
- Know which blood vessels and parts of the heart contain oxygenated and deoxygenated blood
- Know the pathway for pulmonary and systemic circulation
- Know the components of blood, their characteristics and their functions
- Be able to determine a person’s blood type based on how it clots with different antibodies
- Be able to determine who can donate blood to who if given their blood types
- Know what a vaccine is and how it works
- Understand what immunity is and how it can be acquired
